Why is there a warning about mietsofort.de?

This provider should be strictly avoided. The check shows clear signs of a fraudulent shop.

Do not place any orders here and do not enter any payment or contact details. Check the relevant warning lists and report the shop if you suspect fraud.

Shop facts

Who runs this site?

Warning signals

• Imprint A legal notice is linked, but it provides no usable contact details or was itself unreachable.
• PayPal support PayPal is not mentioned as a payment method on the pages checked; a payment route with buyer protection is therefore not recognisable.
• Fake shop lists The domain is listed on official warning lists for fraudulent shops (1 list hits) - consumer protection bodies or authorities have already recorded it as a fraud site.
• Security headers The server sets only some of the common protections. Present: enforced encryption (HSTS). Not set: a content security policy (CSP), protection against embedding in other sites (X-Frame-Options) and protection against file type confusion (X-Content-Type-Options). On its own this is not evidence of fraud.
• Payment methods Only a single common payment method is recognisable; secured alternatives are missing.
• Social media presence No social media profiles are linked, or the linked profiles are unreachable - there is therefore no independently verifiable trace of the provider online.
• Country coherence The details on jurisdiction contradict each other: the responsible entity named or the VAT ID belongs to a different country than the law claimed.

In the shop's favour

• DNS configuration The domain has a complete email configuration with MX and SPF records - the shop can therefore actually send and receive email under its own address.
• VAT ID (VIES) The VAT identification number given in the legal notice is valid according to the EU VIES system and matches the company details.
• External reputation feeds The external security databases queried hold no warning about this domain - neither for malware nor for phishing.

Further checks

• Server location The site's server is located in Walnut, US and therefore within the EU/US area - a legal area in which claims against the operator can be enforced if necessary.
• Trustpilot On Trustpilot the shop only reaches 1,5 out of 5 from 78 reviews - other customers there report problems more often than not.
• SSL certificate The connection is encrypted; the certificate was issued by Let's Encrypt and last renewed on 14 August 2026. Anyone can verify this themselves - via the padlock icon in the browser's address bar. Encryption says nothing about the operator's trustworthiness, though: a fake shop gets it free of charge too.
• Legal pages Terms and conditions, right of withdrawal and privacy policy are linked on the site - the mandatory distance selling information is therefore present.
• Redirects The address does not redirect to a third-party domain - the shop is actually operated under the address you opened.
• Contact data plausibility The contact details given are plausible: the email address belongs to the shop domain and the phone number is correctly formatted - fake shops mostly use free webmail addresses here.
• Template/clone fingerprint No known fake shop has the same template fingerprint as this site - a mass-produced kit of the kind fraud networks use is therefore not detectable.
• Content depth The site has very few subpages - an established shop with a real product range looks different.
• URL structure clone The URL structure shows no conspicuous overlap with other shops we have checked - an indication that the site does not come from a clone series.
• Operator cluster The site shares no operator-specific identifiers with other domains we have checked - there is therefore no indication of a network of similar shops.

What we could not verify

These checks returned no result – for example because the site blocked our request or a registry was unreachable. This is explicitly NOT a suspicion: it only means we lack the basis for a statement here.
