Is moonkie.de trustworthy? Suspicious signals
suspiciousToo little reliable data was available to reach a clear verdict for this shop – this is not proof of fraud. Some checks returned no results.
Check the imprint, reviews and reachability yourself, use secure payment methods with buyer protection and be cautious with prepayment.
What you should do next
The check does not provide a clear picture for moonkie.de. Resolve the open and suspicious points before sending money or personal data.
- Compare the company, address and register details in the legal notice with an independent source.
- Do not pay by bank transfer, advance payment or cryptocurrency; use effective buyer protection instead.
- Run the check again immediately before buying if the displayed check date is no longer current.
- Review the data gaps: an unverifiable signal is neither positive evidence nor a suspicion.
Bei Moonkie ist alles darauf ausgerichtet, erstklassige Babyartikel zu schaffen, die höchsten Qualitätsstandards entsprechen und das Elternerlebnis verbessern.

Trust seals on this page
A genuine trust seal is clickable and leads to the provider's certificate – a test the seal providers name themselves. We run it automatically on every check.
- Trusted Shops – leads to the provider
- Trustpilot – leads to the provider
We check the embedding, not the content of the certificate: a linked seal may be expired or issued for a different domain.
Warning signals
- Imprint A legal notice is linked, but it provides no usable contact details or was itself unreachable.
- DNS configuration Neither MX nor SPF records are configured for the domain - there is no working email infrastructure, even though a shop should be reachable by email.
- Template/clone fingerprint One known fake shop has the same kit fingerprint as this site.
Same operator traces
These domains share an operator-specific marker with the checked site. Fake shops are rarely run on their own.
In the shop's favour
- Trusted Shops The domain is listed as a certified shop in the Trusted Shops member directory - the provider has passed an external audit and is listed there by name.
- Trustpilot The shop embeds a Trustpilot review widget through which public customer reviews can be viewed.
- External reputation feeds The external security databases queried hold no warning about this domain - neither for malware nor for phishing.
- Trust seal check The embedded trust seal is officially linked or confirmed by the provider - it can therefore be traced back to the issuing body.
Further checks
- Server location The site's server is located in Ottawa, CA and therefore outside the EU and the USA - enforcing your rights there is considerably harder in a dispute.
- SSL certificate The connection is encrypted; the current certificate was issued on 12 June 2026. Encryption says nothing about the operator's trustworthiness, though: a fake shop gets it free of charge too.
- Fake shop lists The domain does not appear on any of the fake shop warning lists checked - warning lists lag behind newly created shops, however, so this is no clean bill of health.
- Security headers The server sets the common security headers - the site is technically cleanly configured. On its own this says nothing about the provider's trustworthiness.
- Legal pages Terms and conditions, right of withdrawal and privacy policy are linked on the site - the mandatory distance selling information is therefore present.
- Payment methods The shop names PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay as payment options - so you do not have to pay in advance to order here.
- Redirects The address does not redirect to a third-party domain - the shop is actually operated under the address you opened.
- Social media presence The linked social media profiles are reachable - the provider can therefore also be checked outside its own website.
- Contact data plausibility The contact details given are plausible: the email address belongs to the shop domain and the phone number is correctly formatted - fake shops mostly use free webmail addresses here.
- Country coherence Country of the responsible entity, VAT ID and legal details are consistent - the statements about the company's registered office do not contradict each other.
What we could not verify
These checks returned no result – for example because the site blocked our request or a registry was unreachable. This is explicitly NOT a suspicion: it only means we lack the basis for a statement here.

- VAT ID (VIES)
- Trade register
- IP neighborhood
