Who runs this site?

Trust seals on this page

A genuine trust seal is clickable and leads to the provider's certificate – a test the seal providers name themselves. We run it automatically on every check.

• Trusted Shops – only claimed in the text, no seal embedded

We check the embedding, not the content of the certificate: a linked seal may be expired or issued for a different domain.

Warning signals

• Security headers The server sets only some of the common protections. Present: protection against embedding in other sites (X-Frame-Options) and protection against file type confusion (X-Content-Type-Options). Not set: enforced encryption (HSTS) and a content security policy (CSP). On its own this is not evidence of fraud.
• Trust seal check The “Trusted Shops” seal is shown as a logo only, without a link to the official provider - its authenticity cannot be verified. A genuine seal is clickable and leads to the certificate at the issuer; the seal providers themselves point this out.
• Country coherence The details on jurisdiction contradict each other: the responsible entity named or the VAT ID belongs to a different country than the law claimed.

In the shop's favour

• PayPal support PayPal is named as a payment method - a payment route with buyer protection is therefore available, through which money can be reclaimed if goods are not delivered.
• Trusted Shops The domain is listed as a certified shop in the Trusted Shops member directory - the provider has passed an external audit and is listed there by name.
• WHOIS According to WHOIS the domain has been registered for several years, or its registration data has been unchanged for years - an indication of a permanently operated presence.
• Domain age The domain has existed for around 25 years and therefore has a long operating history - fake shops usually disappear again after a few months.
• DNS configuration The domain has a complete email configuration with MX and SPF records - the shop can therefore actually send and receive email under its own address.
• VAT ID (VIES) The VAT identification number given in the legal notice is valid according to the EU VIES system and matches the company details.
• External reputation feeds The external security databases queried hold no warning about this domain - neither for malware nor for phishing.
• Trusted Shops seal match The embedded Trusted Shops seal is verified for this domain and carries a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 217 reviews - it therefore genuinely belongs to this shop.

Further checks

• Imprint The legal notice names podo medi netherlands B.V. as the operator, registered under K.v.K. Twente/Salland 70297991, with reachable contact details. That number can be looked up in the public register - in a dispute there is someone to turn to who demonstrably exists.
• Server location The site's server is located in Berlin, DE and therefore within the EU/US area - a legal area in which claims against the operator can be enforced if necessary.
• SSL certificate The connection is encrypted; the current certificate was issued on 12 June 2026. Encryption says nothing about the operator's trustworthiness, though: a fake shop gets it free of charge too.
• Fake shop lists The domain does not appear on any of the fake shop warning lists checked - warning lists lag behind newly created shops, however, so this is no clean bill of health.
• Legal pages Terms and conditions, right of withdrawal and privacy policy are linked on the site - the mandatory distance selling information is therefore present.
• Payment methods The shop names PayPal, credit card, Klarna, Sofort, Apple Pay, direct debit and purchase on invoice as payment options - so you do not have to pay in advance to order here.
• Redirects The address does not redirect to a third-party domain - the shop is actually operated under the address you opened.
• Social media presence The linked social media profiles are reachable - the provider can therefore also be checked outside its own website.
• Contact data plausibility The contact details given are plausible: the email address belongs to the shop domain and the phone number is correctly formatted - fake shops mostly use free webmail addresses here.
• Template/clone fingerprint No known fake shop has the same template fingerprint as this site - a mass-produced kit of the kind fraud networks use is therefore not detectable.

What we could not verify

These checks returned no result – for example because the site blocked our request or a registry was unreachable. This is explicitly NOT a suspicion: it only means we lack the basis for a statement here.

• Trustpilot
• Trade register
• IP neighborhood
• Hoster reputation
• Content depth
• URL structure clone
• Platform origin
