Warnings

What authorities have reported*

Two official sources that we import into our data. An entry here is a warning from the authority concerned.

Addresses are written with [.] and are not clickable, so nobody opens a dangerous site by accident.

What a warning means

The authority reviewed the website or number and publicly warned or intervened. We reproduce this and link the source where one exists.

What a missing entry means

Nothing. New websites and numbers often appear on the lists only after weeks. No entry is not an all-clear.

Sources: BaFin warnings, Federal Network Agency measure lists (official works). We render the agency’s categories in plain words, with the original label shown on the entry.

Classification taken from a warning list. No guarantee, not legal advice. Liability as set out in our terms of use. How we check.
